The hosts, Sharon and Noel, were simply exceptional. From the sumptuous breakfasts to the excellent advice on local attractions, they went above and beyond to ensure our family had a memorable experience. The house itself is a gem, filled with beautiful antiques and complemented by stunning china and glassware. The guest lounge and dining room provided a comfortable and elegant setting for our family to relax and enjoy our meals. And the location, just a short walk from Akaroa's cafes and restaurants, made it convenient for our family outings.
For dads, it would be great to have a small play area for children.

Great experience, amazing breakfast and excellent wine. the location was great for exploring the surroundings. the rooms were comfortable and provided everything one could need.
Parking was a bit tight, and the use of the kettle was challenging, and drinks were only available in the bathroom.

The hosts were amazing and made us feel like old friends. They delivered our luggage and arranged our laundry. The house was charming and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was impressive and sumptuous. The location was peaceful, with a lovely garden and amazing birdsong. The guest lounge was super comfortable.
The bathroom was quite small, which could be a challenge for some guests. There was no fridge in the room, which meant we had to go outside to reach it.
